This battery monitor measures voltage, current, capacity, and temperature. It can work with any battery type. Built-in Bluetooth. It is compatible with the Color Control Monitor or Cerbo. This water resistant IP65 version of the Smart Shunt is great for non-weatherized applications such as step bays, tongue boxes, under chassis, and marine applications. The IP65 SmartShunt is best used in vans and small trailers where the distance between the IP65 SmartShunt to the Smart device (phone, tablet, laptop) is no more than about 10’, 15' at most. It's also a good choice when connected to a Victron GX monitor (Color Control or Cerbo) since the Bluetooth connection will not be as critical. The IP65 SmartShunt kit includes a Temperature Sensor along with Lugs and Heat Shrink for interrupting an existing 4/0 cable. If these items are not needed, purchase just the IP65 SmartShunt.
