The Extrema Ratio BF2 Helmsman folding knife is designed primarily for use at sea. The knife is made of durable, high-quality materials that can withstand the aggressive effects of salt water without damage. In addition, the knife is equipped with a pile - a rigging tool in the form of an awl, which is indispensable for untangling knots and other sea manipulations. The drop point blade has a strong curvature of the cutting edge toward the tip, which increased the duration of the cut. Section adjacent to the handle is 40 mm long and has a serrated sharpening, which allows you to successfully cut ropes, slings, and ropes. Smoothly curved blade with 3 mm thickness allows you to rest your thumb or forefinger on the blade for better control. The blade is made of Böhler N690 martensitic, cobalt-alloyed stainless steel. Stonewashed surface treatment increases resistance to seawater. The blade is extracted by means of a double-sided lynch pin on the shank. Liner Lock secures the blade and is complemented by a red colored external safety lock with color indication. The Extrema Ratio BF2 Helmsman is made of aluminum alloy Anticorodal. Ventilated holes cover the single-sided blade with a cut-out Liner Lock, A base stop, a tab at the end, and a textured surface provide a secure grip on the knife.
