Meaning, if you bought a 100AH lead acid battery, your usable capacity is around 50AH. With this battery, you have a useable capacity of up to 95% , meaning very little power is unavailable and wasted. CYCLE LIFE Again, lithium can pay off in the long run, due to the amount to times you can charge and discharge the battery (referred to as cycles). Your typical lead acid leisure battery will offer around 500 cycles before sulphation takes over and is no longer usable. When used under ideal charge/discharge conditions, this lithium battery can offer over 3500 cycles (80% DOD). WEIGHT When building your camper, weight soon adds up!
